National Family Caregivers Month
Updated: Nov 2, 2022

Every November, we recognize family caregivers during National Family Caregivers Month. This is an opportunity to raise awareness about important issues and encourage support for caregivers.
The national observance is led by Caregiver Action Network (CAN). They are a nonprofit that provides free education, peer support, and resources to family caregivers. CAN announced the 2022 theme, #CaregivingHappens, which encourages family caregivers to celebrate the passions and interests that enrich their lives. This is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country. The CAN has a page of resources dedicated to this year's theme. View/download the social media toolkit.
